With more than 30 years of private practice experience, Robert was trained through McGill University in Montreal (Canada) and its associated teaching hospitals, and is renowned for his surgical excellence and delivering the highest standards of care for his patients.

Robert is a graduate of McGill University Dental School, with subsequent training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and completed his residency training at Montreal General Hospital during which time he attended McGill University’s School of Medicine and was granted a Master of Science degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Dolman has earned the distinction of being named a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and one of America’s Top Dentists in the category of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Dolman brings a caring and compassionate manner to every patient, along with sound surgical skills and judgment. Robert has lectured internationally on maxillofacial trauma, implantology, and bone grafting and reconstruction.
Outside the Office
From Montreal to Manhattan
Robert’s practice has carried him from Montreal to Connecticut and now New York City. Away from the practice, he lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with his wife, his daughter, and their two dogs.
